Hello everyone! It's good to see so many people out and about with the good weather we've been having. As most everyone knows we had break-ins, vehicles and other items stolen last week. This was a total violation of our wonderful neighborhood, and many people are upset and asking questions about the investigation. For this reason, we are having an update by the police this Thursday, May 2nd at our Civic meeting. Everyone should be concerned and come to hear about what's going on and what can we do as a community to prevent this from happening in the future. Even if you did not have any problems, we are all in this together and I hope we have a full house to listen to the report. You will be able to ask questions and provide possible solutions to this incident.
Our Delegate Matt Morgan will be here also to give a legislative update on what happened at the General Assembly session. We should all be concerned as to what is being passed for our county and Matt is kind enough to come and give us an update and be able to have a discussion. This is a great opportunity that should not be missed. Matt always makes himself available and we are fortunate to have him as our Delegate.
We have also scheduled Sue Ann Armitage to join us and answer questions and to introduce herself to our community. She is running for Circuit Court Judge, and this is a great time to meet her in a small setting and to help you make good decisions come election day.
We will also be conducting normal Civic Association business, but we felt that we should share additional information that is important to our community. I hope we have a good turnout and show support to those who have said they would come and share their information.
The meeting is Thursday, May 2nd at 7 pm at the Golden Beach Firehouse. Please plan to attend, we can't move forward without everyone's support. Everyone is invited and welcome to attend!
THANK YOU
Dale Antosh
